Neuropathy Program

~~Peripheral neuropathy, a result of damage to your peripheral nerves, often causes weakness, numbness and pain, usually in the hands and feet. It may also affect other areas of your body.

Your peripheral nervous system sends information from your brain and spinal cord (central nervous system) to the rest of your body. Peripheral neuropathy can result from traumatic injuries, infections, metabolic problems, inherited causes and exposure to toxins. One of the most common causes is diabetes mellitus.

People with peripheral neuropathy generally describe the pain as stabbing or burning. Often, there's tingling. In many cases, symptoms improve, especially if caused by a treatable underlying condition.

~~Whether your nerve pain is caused by toxic neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, statin neuropathy, chemotherapy induced neuropathy (CIDP), postherpetic neuralgia, referred pain from Sciatica, or even idiopathic neuropathy, this program treats all types of chronic neuropathy pain and numbness.

How does it work?

Every nerve needs three things to survive: oxygen, stimulation, and nutrition (glucose). If there is a decrease in any of the above components, the nerve will not function properly. Over time, this causes the nerve to slowly degenerate.

Using a vast combination of therapies, our goal is to increase oxygenation, stimulation and nutrition to the affected area. This multi-faceted approach allows maximum relief over the course of 12 weeks.

What the Neuropathy program first accomplishes is a baseline upon which to improve. Then, 3 key areas are addressed, including what may have caused neuropathy and pain in the first place. The work in our clinic indicates in most patients there are several factors including their metabolism or underlying specific health issues. Nutrition and very specific dietary supplement combinations are often quite helpful. Next, electrical abnormalities in nerve function are addressed. Perhaps most importantly, our skilled professionals will then monitor your progress and then adjust your treatment based upon clinical results. Typically, abnormalities in skeletal alignment as well as soft tissue impediments to healthy function are located and simultaneously addressed.

After 1-3 months of supervised in-office treatments, most patients benefit from long-term self care with only periodic in clinic follow-ups. Any appropriate nutritional supplements and supplies can be auto-shipped to them each month. We use only High Quality professional and research supported nutrition products and therapy tools. We are always available for follow up, exercise training and physical modalities, and refer each patient for careful monitoring of their medical conditions.

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • ""Dr. Loebig is unique in that he doesn't merely "see" patients. He becomes invested in his patients' condition. If you are not improving, he will ask questions and create a new plan of treatment. He won't give up on anyone. I feel completely confident that I am receiving the best and most current chiropractic care at Loebig."

  • ""I have been going to Glenn for 17 years. I could not imagine seeing another chiropractor. After 17 years saying he is good at what he does is a given. More importantly it's about the trust and the personal attention he gives to each patient. It's about his patience, his genuine care and attention I see him give to every patient. DC is full of good doctors. I would highly recommend Dr. Loebig - I drive 45 minutes to see him and consider every minute worth it."

  • ""By far my best experience ever with Chiropractic care. As a PGA Golf Professional, I cannot afford to have an injury slow me down. Glenn keeps my back, neck and hip aligned allowing me a pain and injury free golf swing. At my age and time spent on the course, it is more important than ever. I have known Glenn for almost 20 years and cannot say enough good things about him and his professional staff!"
